Social Studies

Middle & high school social studies helps students develop a historical, cultural, political, economic, and geographic context for how they live. Students will come to view their culture, their history, and their world from a biblical perspective.

Science

The elementary science program begins the process of teaching students how to use scientific knowledge throughout their lives. Science is far more than a collection of facts. Students can use the knowledge and skills they learn in science classes to change our world and improve it for others.

Math

The elementary school math program seeks to give students the solid foundation they need to use math for life. Our materials carefully progress from tangible representations to abstract concepts so that students not only understand mathematical practices but can choose the appropriate method to tackle a specific problem.

Literature Arts

Central to reading comprehension is simply knowing what the words in a text mean. To help students acquire new vocabulary, BJU Press literature courses don’t just give definitions for students to memorize, although listed definitions and vocabulary lists will also be available

Bible

To grow in their spiritual walk, students must learn to study the Bible for themselves. So even as they learn how to read, they must also begin learning how to read, interpret, and apply the Word of God to their lives.
